چکیده
The present study aimed to demonstrate the use of two strains Streptomyces albus (CAI-24 and KAI-27) one strain S. griseus (MMA-32) for plant growth-promotion (PGP) improving pearl millet yield nutrient content under greenhouse field conditions. Two hybrids, a low-Fe (PA-9444; non-biofortified hybrid) high-Fe (ICMH-1201; biofortified hybrid), treated with selected strains, significantly enhanced range traits including grain in glasshouse (13–23%) (9–12%) over control. In experiments an stover concentrations were observed ICMH-1201 (Fe 53% 40%; Zn 15% 10%; Ca 11% 29%) control, while such nutrition augmentations not found PA-9444. harvested also increased control both hybrids. A higher concentration was PA-9444 had increase indicating significance these strains’ PGP role hybrid. Based on this study, KAI-27 MMA-32 improved shoot weight, root weight CAI-24 Fe contents (up 49%) as well stover. Further, samples contained (150–200%) compared samples. This confirms that have potential enhancing can complement existing conventional biofortification strategies.

Plant growth promoting rhizobia: challenges and opportunities
Modern agriculture faces challenges, such as loss of soil fertility, fluctuating climatic factors and increasing pathogen and pest attacks. Sustainability and environmental safety of agricultural production relies on eco-friendly approaches like biofertilizers, biopesticides and crop residue return. The multiplicity of beneficial effects of microbial inoculants, particularly plant growth promot...
متن کاملPlant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria: A Critical Review
Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are naturally occurring soil bacteria that aggressively colonize plant roots and benefit plants by providing growth promotion. Inoculation of crop plants with certain strains of PGPR at an early stage of development improves biomass production through direct effects on root and shoots growth. Inoculation of ornamentals, forest trees, vegetables, and a...

متن کاملPlant Growth-Promoting Bacteria: Mechanisms and Applications
The worldwide increases in both environmental damage and human population pressure have the unfortunate consequence that global food production may soon become insufficient to feed all of the world's people. It is therefore essential that agricultural productivity be significantly increased within the next few decades. To this end, agricultural practice is moving toward a more sustainable and e...
متن کاملPlant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR): a review
Soil microbial communities are often difficult to characterize, mainly because of their immense phenotypic and genotypic diversity. In the last ten years, a number of PGPR that have been identified has seen a great boost, mainly because the role of the rhizosphere as an ecological unit has gained importance in the functioning of the biosphere and also because mechanisms of action of PGPR have b...
